![]() The art of mosaic goes back centuries in the Arabic world. Throughout history mosaic has been mainly used to decorate walls, floors and fountains in palaces and hammams. Today Moroccan craftsmen also use mosaic to create furniture, which can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Each piece in the mosaic is carefully cut by hand, from glazed tiles before being placed into a pattern. The tiles with motifs have also been carved by hand – a meticulous work, that demands precision and time. All our mosaic products below are custom-made, and size, colors, designs, and shapes are made-to-order. Get inspired by the pictures below, and feel free to create your own mosaic! Please go to the bottom of the page for tile-color references. For different table top stands and other furniture that you can combine with the mosaic, please refer to our page of wrought iron. |
